About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in western Kissimmee to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public. The role calls for professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Available shifts include second shift, third shift, and weekend shift. Pay rate: $16.97.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a valid State of Florida Class D Security License.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have basic to intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, lift moderately, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all preemployment requirements.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through a visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
