About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a residential security role in Los Angeles, California. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, responds to incidents and potential threats, conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The hourly wage is $19.50.

Requirements

• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete additional 32-hour BSIS security training. Additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
