About The Position

CertaPro Painters of North Raleigh is a family-owned painting company that has served the Triangle since 2006. As we celebrate our 20th year, we're growing and looking for a driven leader to take ownership of our residential business. This is a full-cycle role where you'll sell the job, schedule it, run it, and close it out, from the first appointment to the final payment. Over time, you'll grow into running our entire residential side of the business. You'll report to the owner and general manager. With 20 years in the area and a well-established brand, almost all of our leads are warm leads from homeowners who have already reached out to us. That means your time goes into closing jobs, not chasing them. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants their pay tied to their results. Our busy seasons are when top performers earn the most, and there's real opportunity to make money here.

Requirements

• 2+ years in residential sales, project management, or a related trade (painting experience is a plus, not required)
• Comfortable selling in a customer's home and asking for the business
• Organized enough to juggle many projects, people, and payments at once
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Self-starter who takes ownership without being micromanaged

Responsibilities

• Run in-home estimate appointments for interior and exterior residential projects
• Measure, price, and build written proposals
• Follow up on open proposals and close sales
• Schedule projects with customers
• Collect initial deposits and process payments and checks
• Assign crews and make sure scope, colors, and products are clear before work starts
• Do pre-walks with crews when the schedule allows
• Get crews out to the job and keep projects on track
• Visit job sites to check quality and progress
• Be the main point of contact for the homeowner throughout the project
• Follow up with customers to make sure they're fully satisfied
• Earn referrals and five-star Google reviews
• Collect final payment and process checks
• Pay painters
• Track every job through our system from start to finish
