Residential Property Inspector - Soddy-Daisy, TN
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, to complete residential property inspections. The role involves working outdoors and independently, with contractors controlling their schedules and building routes around their availability. Contractors may work with other clients and use their own associates if they have them. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position; contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Inspectors travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections. They speak briefly and professionally with homeowners, capture required photos and data using a mobile web application, and use a camera pole for roof photos when applicable. For interior and high-value inspections, they schedule their own appointments. Payment is per completed inspection, paid monthly. Work is estimated at 1–2 working days per week or 4–8 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, subject to customer expectations; inspectors choose which days and how many jobs to accept.
