Residential Property Inspector - Gallatin, TN
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Gallatin, Tennessee, to complete residential property inspections. The role involves working outdoors and independently, with control over when and how accepted jobs are completed. Contractors may work with other companies and clients, use their own associates if they have them, and build their own routes. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position; contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Inspectors travel to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, explain the inspection to homeowners, and capture required photos and data using CrimsonBlu’s mobile web application. Some jobs require roof photos taken with a camera pole. Inspectors schedule appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Payment is per completed inspection, on a monthly basis. Estimated workload is 1–2 working days per week or 6–8 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, and inspectors choose which days and how many jobs to accept.
