Residential Property Inspector - Pikeville, KY
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Pikeville, Kentucky, to perform residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors choose how and when to complete jobs they accept, may work with other companies, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Compensation is per completed inspection, paid monthly. Inspections involve travel to properties, primarily for exterior inspections with occasional interior inspections. Work is generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, depending on customer expectations. Contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept. The posting estimates about one working day per week and one day per month.
Requirements
- Be a motivated, detail-oriented business owner or independent contractor.
- Provide your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.
- Have access to a camera pole for applicable roof-photo jobs.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections.
- Have a brief, professional conversation with homeowners to explain the inspection.
- Capture required photos and data through the mobile web application.
- Use a camera pole to take roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Schedule appointments for interior or high-value inspections.
- Deliver accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly.
