Residential Property Inspector - Wausau, WI
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Wausau, Wisconsin, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. They set their own hours, build their own routes, and are paid per completed inspection. They may use their own associates if they have them. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, speaking briefly and professionally with homeowners, and capturing required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require using a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, according to customer expectations; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept. The listed time estimate is 3.5 working days per week or 14 days per month. Service fees are paid monthly for completed inspections.
