Residential Property Inspector - Columbus, GA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Columbus, Georgia, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This 1099 independent contractor role is not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. They set their own hours and routes, are paid per completed inspection, and may use their own associates if they have them. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, briefly explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require roof photos using a camera pole. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Work is estimated at one working day per week or four days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
