Residential Property Inspector - Sturgis, SD
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Sturgis, South Dakota, to complete residential property inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies simultaneously, and are responsible for their own taxes and applicable business insurance. They may set their own hours and routes, and may use their own associates if they have them. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, speaking professionally with homeowners, and capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application. Applicable jobs may require using a camera pole to photograph roofs. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior and high-value inspections and are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. The posting estimates three working days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
