Residential Property Inspector - Rapid City, SD
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Rapid City, South Dakota, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, may use their own associates, and are responsible for their own taxes and applicable business insurance. Compensation is paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. Work is estimated at one working day per week or four days per month, with inspection opportunities generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. Contractors choose which days to work and how many inspections to accept.
Requirements
- Be a motivated, detail-oriented business owner or independent contractor.
- Have access to a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Be responsible for own taxes and any applicable business insurance.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections.
- Have brief, professional conversations with homeowners to explain the inspection.
- Capture required photos and data using the mobile web application.
- Use a camera pole to take roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Schedule appointments for interior and high-value inspections.
- Deliver accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly.
