Residential Property Inspector - Salinas, CA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Salinas, California, to complete residential property inspections. This 1099 contractor role is suited to people who enjoy working outdoors and independently and want control over their schedule. Contractors choose how and when to complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule appointments for interior and high-value inspections and provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Fees are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. Work is estimated at 2–3 days per week, or about 10 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
