Residential Property Inspector - Bristol, VA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Bristol, Virginia to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, speaking briefly and professionally with homeowners, and capturing required photos and data using CrimsonBlu’s mobile web application. Contractors use a camera pole for roof photos when applicable and schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections. The role offers control over scheduling and route-building, with payment per completed inspection on a monthly basis. Estimated workload is 0.5 working days per week, or 2 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, and contractors choose which jobs and days to take on.
