Residential Property Inspector - Emporia, VA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Emporia, Virginia, to complete residential property inspections. This 1099 independent contractor role is not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Contractors set their own hours, build their own routes, and are paid per completed inspection. The work includes traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, briefly explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application. Some applicable jobs require a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior and high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, according to customer expectations. Contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept. The estimated workload is 0.5 working days per week or 1 day per month. Service fees are paid monthly per completed inspection.
