About The Position

Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking professionals to provide compassionate care to diverse patients at its residential treatment facilities in Pasadena and Arcadia, Los Angeles area. The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the facility, including the supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring accurate and timely patient care, and overseeing the care of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses. This role also involves ensuring medical record documentation adheres to policy and regulatory standards, in coordination with the Clinical Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Nursing. The position may also involve direct patient care. Reasons provides a supportive environment for individuals of all genders and ages to recover from eating disorders. Reasons is part of Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited program in field of study
  • Supervisory/managerial experience required
  • Required to work flexible hours
  • Required to participate in an on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities
  • Master's and license preferred in one of the following: Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, or Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist or related license meeting eligibility criteria
  • Supervisory/managerial experience preferably in a psychiatric or residential treatment facility
  • Experience with the eating disorder population for a specialty program

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the complete facility operations and staff management
  • Act as a liaison between staff, patients and facility administration
  • Assist Director of Nursing and Clinical Director in evaluation of the staff’s performance and participate in orientation of new staff
  • Assist in implementing facility policies and procedures
  • Evaluate patients/milieu acuity, report high acuity to the Director of Nursing
  • Schedule staff assignments and program schedules according to acuity and budgetary guidelines
  • Ensure that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner
  • Supervise care of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses
  • Ensure that all medical record documentation is accomplished according to policy and regulatory agency standards in coordination with Clinical Director, Director of Operations and Director of Nursing
  • May provide direct patient care
