Residential Loan Processor I

About The Position

The Residential Loan Processor I is a professional-level lending support position responsible for independently coordinating residential mortgage loan processing from initial disclosure through closing and post-closing setup. The role reviews documentation for completeness, consistency, and compliance; coordinates with internal and external parties; prepares closing packages; maintains audit-ready loan files; and resolves or escalates processing exceptions within established authority. It operates with limited day-to-day supervision and develops specialized expertise in residential lending requirements and procedures. Prior residential mortgage or loan-processing experience is not required. Relevant postsecondary education may count toward part of the experience requirement, but candidates must have prior professional experience in the specified fields. Travel between banking locations may be required. A flexible schedule, including occasional extended or weekend hours, may be needed to meet business and closing deadlines. Attendance at external activities may also be required to stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes.
