About The Position

Overhead Door Company of Charlotte™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking an Install Supervisor for its Residential Operations team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role supports daily residential installation operations, customer service, scheduling, technician efficiency, job follow-up, administrative processing, and employee performance management. The supervisor also contributes to department planning and goals. A bachelor’s degree and prior management experience are preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and previous management experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company professionally.
• Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily job scheduling and ensure customer preferences are met.
• Provide immediate problem-solving assistance to office staff and service technicians.
• Monitor technicians’ schedules in real time using a computer to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Track completed jobs and contact customers to confirm their expectations were met.
• Facilitate processing of completed jobs, including proper materials handling and accurate billing.
• Complete all associated administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
• Conduct employee performance reviews with the Department Manager, document performance issues, and provide counseling and performance-improvement action plans when necessary.
• Participate in planning and establishing department goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
