Residential Plumbing Install Technician
About The Position
Fire & Ice Heating & Air is seeking a Plumbing Install Technician to install, repair, and replace residential plumbing systems and equipment. The role includes work on water heaters, piping systems, fixtures, plumbing components, and drains, as well as diagnosing plumbing issues and recommending solutions to homeowners. The technician is expected to complete work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes; document work and recommendations accurately; and provide professional customer service while communicating clearly with customers and teammates. The company provides tools, support, and resources, along with ongoing training and opportunities for career growth. Compensation is described as $50,000–$150,000+ annually through an hourly base and uncapped commission; the posted hourly pay range is $25–$45. The position offers year-round work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of plumbing installation experience.
- Experience with residential plumbing systems and drain installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver plumbing equipment and materials.
- Comfort working in various weather and jobsite conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace residential plumbing systems and equipment.
