About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a part-time position in Mehlville. This role involves providing physical assistance with daily tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, and facilitating fun activities. The Direct Care Provider will follow medical orders, administer medications, and most importantly, provide choices to clients for their daily activities, including entertainment and community outings. UCP Heartland strives to be the provider of choice supporting people living with disabilities, and this role makes a difference in people's lives 365 days a year. All UCP Heartland schedules/shifts are awake shifts.

Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
Valid Driver's license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation
