About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a part-time position in Webster Groves. This role offers a positive, team-driven work environment with a pay rate of $21.00/hour. The position involves supporting people living with disabilities and making a difference in their lives. Female applicants are specifically requested for this role due to client needs. The schedule is for Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 4 PM, totaling 16 hours weekly.

Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Valid Driver's license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
Follow medical orders and administer medications.
Assist with ADL's; Lift and Transfer (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc.).
Adaptive transportation.
Shift documentation using Set-Works and general housekeeping.
Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
