UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for the following Shift. THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM (UCP HEARTLAND DOES PAY YOU FOR THE MANDATORY TRAINING). ALL UCP HEARTLAND SCHEDULES/SHIFTS ARE AWAKE SHIFTS.
Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Valid Drivers’ license
- Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
- A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer Proficiency
- Reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
- Follow medical orders and administer medications.
- Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
