About The Position
RiseWell Community Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated per-diem Residential Counselors to join its Residential team in Brentwood, New York. The role provides supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program. This per-diem position requires flexibility to work day or evening shifts and is on call.
Requirements
- High school diploma and one year of experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities, or a BA in Human Services.
- Clean, valid New York State driver's license.
- Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and approval from the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive counseling to people with psychiatric disabilities.
- Provide restorative services.
- Provide crisis intervention.
