About The Position

The Residential Housekeeper executes established work schedules within an assigned area in accordance with facility and departmental policies and procedures. The role supports a safe, orderly, sanitary, and professional environment in residential units, offices, and public areas at Casa de las Campanas, an upscale senior living community in Rancho Bernardo. Employees are expected to uphold Life Care Services’ Hospitality Promises, including treating everyone with courteous respect, anticipating needs, responding promptly, maintaining professionalism in conduct and appearance, and attending to detail. Employees must pass background checks required by a licensed residential care facility, including a fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references.

Must use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and according to instructions.

Responsibilities

Clean scheduled residential units, office spaces, and public areas in a proper and professional manner.
Maintain public and common areas in a safe, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Identify and report needed repairs and unsafe conditions, and respond appropriately in emergencies.
Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and according to instructions.
Perform special tasks that may be chargeable to residents when instructed by the Supervisor.
Clean interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis.
Use carpet-cleaning equipment and perform carpet care as instructed.
Make or change resident beds as scheduled.
Maintain high levels of professionalism in conduct and appearance and pay attention to detail.
Uphold the community’s Hospitality Promises, including greeting people warmly, treating everyone with respect, anticipating needs, listening and responding promptly, and embracing differences.
