About The Position

The Residential Housekeeper executes established work schedules within an assigned area, following facility and departmental policies and procedures. The role involves cleaning residential units, office space, and public areas; maintaining safe, orderly, and sanitary common areas; and supporting the community’s hospitality standards. Employees must be able to pass background checks required by a licensed residential care facility, including a fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references.

Responsibilities

Clean scheduled residential units, office space, and public areas in a proper and professional manner.
Maintain public and common areas in a safe, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Identify and report needed repairs and unsafe conditions, and respond appropriately in emergencies.
Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and according to instructions.
Perform special tasks that may be chargeable to a resident when instructed by the Supervisor.
Clean interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis.
Use carpet-cleaning equipment and perform carpet care as instructed.
Make and/or change resident beds as scheduled.
Follow the community’s Hospitality Promises, including treating people respectfully, responding to needs, maintaining professionalism, and paying attention to detail.
