Resident Transport Assistant Per-Diem
About The Position
Fellowship Community is seeking a Resident Transport Assistant to support residents in a senior living community. The role includes preparing residents for activities, safely transporting them to appointments, and helping create a warm, respectful environment. The successful applicant will promote resident safety and rights, communicate professionally, and contribute to a supportive, high-energy team guided by Fellowship Community’s RISE Core Values: Relationships, Innovation, Stewardship, and Excellence. Applicants must complete Fellowship Orientation and a pre-hire assessment. If an offer is extended, the applicant must successfully pass a background check and drug screening; the drug screening will be conducted at Fellowship Community at the time of the offer.
Requirements
- Be physically able to lift more than 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, and stand.
- Have strong communication and observation skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Have a passion for customer service and teamwork.
- Complete Fellowship Orientation and a pre-hire assessment.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening if a job offer is extended.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with transportation and activity preparation.
- Safely transport residents to appointments.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare providers.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions.
- Serve snacks and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure safety and promote residents’ rights.
