The Resident Project Representative III (Construction Resident Representative 3) performs construction inspection duties on assigned projects and can lead inspection on at least one project. The role handles routine matters with relatively small project impact that do not involve complex issues or changes to design parameters. It supports the Construction Manager with monthly reports, pay request approvals, stored materials, reviews of as-built drawings, and test reports, and coordinates quality control and quality assurance testing on site. The representative completes daily construction reports and other documentation as assigned, participates in or runs project meetings, and works with clients, contractors, engineers, client field staff, contractor field crews, and project managers. The role reports daily to the Construction Manager and regularly to the Project Manager, and may direct inspectors and field staff across multiple projects. The representative is also expected to understand budgets and cost assignments and may help market the company’s services. The position requires willingness to travel and attend outside training such as OSHA and ACI; passing an OSHA safety course is required as part of training for jobsite visits. Work takes place in outdoor weather conditions and may involve moving parts, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and often loud noise. Physical demands include standing for up to eight hours or more, walking in rugged conditions, working in adverse weather, and occasionally walking, sitting, climbing or balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee frequently lifts or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 125 pounds.
