About The Position

Turing is seeking a licensed physician in active clinical practice to work with research teams to evaluate and improve how AI systems handle clinical reasoning. The role involves designing evaluation methods to test AI performance on real medical problems, creating clinical scenarios that assess AI reasoning and decision-making, and building assessment methods that capture the nuance of clinical practice. The expert will identify gaps in AI medical knowledge and reasoning and collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance. This is a remote, flexible engagement of up to 30 hours per week for one month, with potential extensions based on performance and fit. Scheduling can be flexible around clinical commitments.

Requirements

Be a licensed physician in active clinical practice; any specialty is accepted.
Have experience with clinical decision-making and evidence-based medicine.
Have an interest in how AI can support clinical practice.
Have strong analytical and communication skills.
