About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Resident Field Technician/Mechanic to cover the Brookings, Oregon, and Crescent City, California, area. The technician works on material handling equipment at customer locations to keep equipment operating at peak performance and maximize uptime. The role involves traveling throughout the assigned area in a Pape’ service vehicle, repairing equipment, and interacting with customers. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• A driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must reside in the assigned area of the region.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
