About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Construction & Forestry Division is seeking an experienced Field Technician / Mechanic in Sparks, Nevada. The technician works on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to keep equipment operating at peak performance and maximize uptime. The role involves traveling in a Pape’ service vehicle, completing repairs and maintenance, and interacting with customers. As a journeyman, the technician is relied on to handle challenging jobs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• A driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities
