About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is hiring a Resident Periodic Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to serve the Moses Lake area. The technician works at customer locations, performing periodic maintenance on forklifts of all makes and minor repairs, including lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses. The role helps ensure customer equipment is properly maintained, operating at peak performance, and maximizing uptime. The technician travels throughout the area in a Pape’ service vehicle, performs equipment service, and interacts directly with customers. Requirements

At least 3 years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
Self-motivated and assertive attitude.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work under little or no supervision.
Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must reside in the Moses Lake area.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic maintenance on forklifts of all makes at customer locations.

Travel throughout the Moses Lake area in a company service vehicle.
