Maintenance Mechanic / Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic / Facilities Maintenance Technician performs maintenance and repair work on manufacturing equipment, peripheral support equipment, and facility interiors. The role uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to schedule preventive maintenance, document repairs and downtime, and supports equipment installation, relocation, and decommissioning. This is a temp-to-hire position in Phoenix, Arizona, working 100% onsite on the second shift, from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM PST. The listed assignment dates are November 9, 2026, through March 9, 2027. Pay is $25 per hour on W-2.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma.
- Prior facility maintenance experience.

- Advanced technical degree or college education preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility meets safety regulations and requirements.
- Assist with setup for meetings held in the facility.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Repair manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment, including vacuum pumps, compressors, and dryers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and decommissioning.
- Use the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to schedule preventive maintenance, log repairs, and record downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment problems.
- Maintain spare parts inventory.
- Source parts and tools needed to perform tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform facility maintenance, including interior painting and minor interior structural repairs.
