About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to perform repairs and preventative maintenance at its facilities. The role includes coordinating with contractors, following company lockout/tagout procedures, installing and assisting with equipment, and using a CMMS to create work requests. This is a day-shift position.

The ideal candidate can troubleshoot facilities equipment and has basic English and math skills, computer proficiency, and experience working with vendors. HVAC knowledge and experience with roofing, concrete, structural work, and electrical diagrams are relevant to the role.

Requirements

• Understand and deliver basic commands in English.
• Have basic math skills and be able to use a calculator and read a tape measure.
• Be able to use precision measuring tools.
• Have troubleshooting ability with facilities equipment, including backup generators, overhead doors, and plumbing.
• Have experience working with vendors.
• Have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC knowledge.
• Experience with roofing, concrete, and some structural facets.
• Familiarity with electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities repairs as necessary.
• Schedule and communicate with contractors.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures according to company policy.
• Install and assist with new and replacement equipment.
• Use the CMMS system to create work requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance and regular inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
