A related bachelor’s degree and leadership experience are preferred. A valid driver’s license is required; a commercial driver’s license may also be required depending on community needs. The role involves routine decision-making within detailed guidelines, with independent judgment and discretion, and requires solving problems by following guidelines or reporting them to a supervisor. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, communicating, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The position requires interaction with coworkers, residents, or vendors and driving residents. Occasional weekend, evening, or night work may be needed for shift coverage, and on-call availability may be required as needed.
