About The Position

Dalton Square, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking a caring and dependable Resident Care Aide to provide hands-on support with residents’ daily activities and build meaningful relationships with them. This is a part-time, third-shift opportunity. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, resident communication, documentation, and responding to emergency calls.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED accepted and may be required under state regulations.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents, and ability to work in a team environment.
Dedication and passion for serving seniors, with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interest.
Written and verbal communication skills and an appropriate level of understanding.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
Assist residents in the dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables.
Respond to the resident emergency call system.
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator or designee.
Communicate politely and professionally with residents and family members.
Maintain resident care documentation in accordance with state regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures.
Transport residents when required.
