About The Position

Juniper Communities is hiring a Resident Associate at Preston. Full-time shifts are available from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; PRN positions are also available. The role supports residents with activities of daily living and assists with meal service. Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Work throughout the community and its premises.
• Move intermittently during working hours; movement may include standing, walking, sitting, pulling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living, including dental and mouth care, bathing, dressing and undressing, hair and nail care, shaving, continence management, and use of prosthetic devices.
• Assist residents with transportation, shopping, making and keeping appointments, telephone use, correspondence, social, exercise and leisure activities, ambulation, and dining.
• Serve meals and assist with clearing tables under the direction of the Executive Chef.
