About The Position

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking an Assisted Living Resident Assistant to provide personal care and support to residents. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meals, planned activities, and responding to resident needs and emergencies. The position is available full-time or part-time on either a 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. shift. Wages range from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on licensure, experience, and shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, and foot care.
• Take vital signs and perform height and weight checks according to policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime, including cutting food and encouraging residents to eat.
• Complete and document assigned shift responsibilities; report any tasks that cannot be completed to the nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads, and the Director of Resident Services as needed.
• Provide activities as planned or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
