About The Position

Juniper Communities is hiring a Resident Associate. The role assists residents with activities of daily living and supports meal service and table clearing under the direction of the Executive Chef. A full-time 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift is available, as well as PRN work. Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Work throughout the community and its premises.
• Move intermittently during working hours, including standing, walking, sitting, pulling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with dental and mouth care, bathing, dressing and undressing, hair and nail care, shaving, continence management, and use of prosthetic devices.
• Assist residents with securing transportation, shopping, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, correspondence, social, exercise and leisure activities, ambulation, and dining.
• Serve meals and assist with clearing tables under the direction of the Executive Chef.
