About The Position
WesleyLife is hiring a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager for a full-time first-shift role at its community in Washington, Iowa. The position involves administering medications according to prescribed schedules and medication-management protocols, assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring residents’ health and well-being, and documenting medication administration and care activities. The listed first shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The starting pay rate is based on years of experience. Shift differentials are listed for second shift, third shift, and weekends. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to pass medication.
- One year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication-management protocols.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, promoting independence and well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
