Resident Assistant/Medication Manager - Full-Time Third Shift
About The Position

The Resident Assistant/Medication Manager administers medications according to prescribed schedules and medication management protocols, assists residents with daily living activities, and monitors and reports on resident health and well-being. This is a full-time third-shift position with 32 hours per week at the community located at 4699 53rd Ave, Bettendorf, IA 52722. The role requires completing an online Medication Manager course within 90 days of employment. As part of pre-hire screening, candidates must complete a pre-hire health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to pass medication.
- Must pass the online Medication Manager course within 90 days of employment.
- One year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, while promoting independence and well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
