About The Position

The Resident Assistant at First Colonial Inn supports residents’ quality of life through compassionate care and meaningful connections. The role assists with daily activities, encourages independence, and helps maintain a welcoming environment where residents can thrive while receiving person-centered care. The position is offered full time on the 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift or part time on first or second shift. The base rate is $17.75–$18.25 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour evening shift differential. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments: half after 90 days and half after six months.

All employment offers are conditional on completing the pre-employment process, including a drug screen, job-specific physical, TB test, and background check. The company covers the cost of these pre-hire requirements. Kisco Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
• Support wellness programs and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional service.
