About The Position
The Resident Assistant at First Colonial Inn supports residents’ quality of life through compassionate care and meaningful connections. The role assists residents with daily activities, encourages independence, and helps create a welcoming environment where residents can thrive while receiving person-centered care. Full-time schedules are 2 p.m.–10 p.m.; part-time schedules are available on first and second shifts. The base rate is $17.75–$18.25 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour evening shift differential. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments: half after 90 days and half after six months. Offers are contingent on completing the pre-employment process, including a drug screen, job-related physical, TB test, and background check. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
- Support wellness programs and maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional service.
