About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Assistants, and Personal Care Aides to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients. Care is delivered in clients’ homes. All shifts are available, with full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules offered. PCA training is provided for interested applicants without certification.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for people interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist clients with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
