About The Position

At Community First Solutions, Resident Assistants provide direct, person-centered care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The role includes assistance with personal care and daily activities, companionship, and fostering residents’ dignity, independence, and sense of belonging. This is a part-time position at the Westover location, scheduled for two shifts per week from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with an every-other-weekend rotation. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, high-quality interactions tailored to residents’ individual interests, focusing on interpersonal relationships and quality of life.
• Assist the nurse with managing, treating, and responding to residents’ care needs.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, positioning, and transporting.
• Answer resident calls in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with daily meals and feeding.
• Observe residents’ physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, and other changes; listen to residents and share resident or family concerns and changes in condition with a supervisor.
• Report to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
