About The Position

At Community First Solutions, Resident Assistants provide direct, person-centered care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The role assists with daily activities and personal care while promoting dignity, independence, belonging, interpersonal relationships, and quality of life. The position is part-time at the Westover location, scheduled two days per week from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an every-other-weekend rotation. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

Provide positive, quality interactions tailored to residents’ individual interests, with a focus on interpersonal relationships and quality of life.
Assist the nurse with managing, treating, and responding to resident care needs.
Assist residents with daily hygiene activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, positioning, and transporting.
Answer resident calls in a timely manner.
Assist residents with daily meals and feeding.
Observe residents’ physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, and other changes; listen to residents and share resident or family concerns and changes in residents’ conditions with a supervisor.
Report to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
