About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in an assisted living community. The position is part-time and scheduled for the NOC shift, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., including every other weekend. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, transporting them within the community, responding to calls and safety concerns, and following resident care plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond promptly, appropriately, and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards.
• Review and follow resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
