About The Position

Vivie is hiring an on-call Resident Assistant for The Plaza. The role provides hands-on support to residents, helping them with daily activities and creating a safe, comfortable environment while fostering connection and supporting residents’ dignity, joy, and companionship. The schedule is on-call, with a minimum of three shifts per month. Compensation is $19–$23.65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location. This is an hourly, non-exempt position in the Nursing department, with no travel and no supervisory responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role; experience is preferred but not required.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification; preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
