Resident Assistant - Full Time Days - Grand Arbor
About The Position
As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections and helping them live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. The role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting residents’ preferences and wellbeing, helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, and contributing to a positive community experience. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position in the Nursing department at Grand Arbor. The schedule is 63 hours per pay period, with shifts starting at 6 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. and ending between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The position includes every other weekend and holiday. Travel is not required, and the role has no supervisory responsibilities. Pay is $18.50–$23.65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role; preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification; preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional wellbeing to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
