Resident Assistant - Part Time Evenings - Grand Arbor
About The Position
At Vivie, the Resident Assistant provides hands-on support to residents and fosters meaningful connections. The role helps residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship by assisting with daily activities and supporting a safe, comfortable environment. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position in the Nursing department, scheduled for 48 hours per pay period from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. The role has no travel requirements and no supervisory responsibilities. Pay is $18.50–$23.65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
