Resident Assistant - Full Time Days - Grand Arbor
About The Position
As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide hands-on support to residents and foster meaningful connections. You will help residents with daily activities, promote a safe and comfortable environment, and support their dignity, joy, and companionship. The role is in the Nursing department, is hourly and non-exempt, has no travel requirements, and does not include supervisory responsibilities. The schedule is full time at 63 hours per pay period, with shifts starting at 6 a.m., 6:30 a.m., or 6 a.m. and ending between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. The pay range is $18.50–$23.65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain clean and comfortable surroundings through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, and promote a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
