In collaboration with the care team, the role supports quality patient outcomes and delivers compassionate, safe care while contributing to department goals and professional growth. The Resident Assistant prepares and passes prescribed medications as ordered, completes required vital signs before medication administration, recognizes and reports medication side effects, and follows the five medication-management rights.
