About The Position
Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Resident Aide - Health Services to provide quality care and service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role supports residents with physical and personal care needs, helps maintain a clean environment, assists residents with activities and appointments, and reviews care plans. Positions are casual, with 16 hours per month and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if available. Available shifts are day (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.), evening (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.), and NOC (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
Nice To Haves
- Satisfactory completion of a Nurse Aide Program.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Experience in an environmental services or customer service position in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with positioning, feeding, transporting, transferring, toileting, ambulating, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Perform assigned housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, restocking items, wiping tables, chairs, and handrails, vacuuming, polishing, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist residents with activities and appointments when required, including helping them get to scheduled activities.
- Review care plans at least weekly and whenever an interim care plan is updated, changed, or added.
- Assist residents to designated tables for meals and snacks.
